An Interview With Deborah Best

How many years have you been selling travel?

I have been selling travel for 36 years. I have been with Maritime for 34 years . I'm a branch partner at the Cole Harbour office.    

What are your hobbies?

I really enjoy travelling, skiing, boating, snorkeling, siteseeing, waterskiing. I like to be active.  My new hobby is golf ! 

What type of resort activities do you favor? ie water sports, lounging by the pool, etc?

Swimming, snorkeling, waterskiing, windsurf, parasailing, historic sites, adventure tours like ziplining and jungle tours. I like museums,and great food, drinks and music.

What are your favorite destinations?

I have many favorites. Mexico, and many caribbean islands.  I was married in Mexico. I really like Disney. Germany and Portugal.  I really enjoy cruising.  Las Vegas Tremblant ski resort. Dubai  Sandals Whitehouse Jamaica . As of 2017 River cruising is now my favorite. I cruised the Danube with AMA Waterways and it was fantastic.

 English

Do you have a family? and if so what type of family travel have you done?

 I have a family that loves to travel . We have gone on many family holidays.
