ARRIVE DUBLIN
Today is leisurely as we all gather in our hotel in Malahide overlooking the Irish Sea in north County Dublin. Enjoy a pre-dinner drink and an introduction to your travelling companions before an early dinner.

SUNDAY, JUNE 23, 2019
SAINT PATRICK'S COUNTRY
Head north through the majestic Mountains of Mourne into Saint Patrick’s Country to visit the grave of Ireland’s Patron Saint and the Saint Patrick Centre which tells his story. Afterwards we drive to Strangford where we take the ferryboat ride to beautiful Portaferry. Onwards to Belfast for a panoramic tour which will include the political wall murals located on the Protestant Shankill Road and the Catholic Falls Road—a unique cultural experience. This evening you will dine at Deane and Decanto a popular Belfast Bistro.

MONDAY, JUNE 24, 2019
BELFAST & TITANIC
A guided tour of Belfast City Hall is first on the agenda this morning. Next, experience what life was like for a prisoner in Belfast’s Crumlin Road Gaol. In the afternoon, visit the shipyard where the Titanic was built in 1909, followed by a tour at the Titanic Experience—recently voted Europe's top visitor attraction. The remainder of the day and evening is at leisure for you to continue exploring the Northern capital. You may wish to indulge in some retail therapy, or further explore Belfast by foot. This evening you can choose from an array of great pubs and restaurants for your dining pleasure (own expense).

TUESDAY, JUNE 25, 2019
GIANT’S CAUSEWAY & DERRY
This morning we drive north along the Antrim Coast and visit the Giant’s Causeway. Afterward we will visit Old Bushmills Distillery for a tour and tasting. We then continue on to Derry where a local guide will tell the “Story of Derry” on a walking tour of this historic walled city.

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 26, 2019
BEN BULBEN & CLEW BAY
We visit Belleek, home of the world famous porcelain factory. We then enter the romantic domain of W. B. Yeats via Drumcliffe where he is buried and other sites in Sligo associated with the life of the poet, before continuing to Westport.

THURSDAY, JUNE 27, 2019
FREE DAY – WESTPORT
Today is a free day in Westport. Westport is a colourful, heritage town in County Mayo that is a unique blend of traditional and modern. The town sits at the southeast corner of Clew Bay, an inlet of the Atlantic Ocean on the west coast of Ireland. Westport is an established tourist centre, well known for its array of live music and lively pubs. Today, you may wish to take advantage of the many outdoor activities that are available. Croagh Patrick, lies 10km west of the town near the villages of Murrisk and Lecanvey and is known as one of Europe’s best known places of Pilgrimage, providing a tough ascent for many pilgrims each year, who climb barefoot in the memory of St. Patrick. There is a small church at the summit and magnificent views of Clew Bay. The award-winning Great Western Greenway lies here, where you may wish to enjoy the walking and cycling trails or weather permitting, spend some time at one of the blue flag beaches. Westport is also well known for sea-angling and freshwater fishing on nearby loughs. Tonight you are free to dine at one of Westport’s fine establishments (own expense).

GALWAY CITY & CLIFFS OF MOHER
Enroute to Galway this morning we will pass thru’ the village of Cong location for the classic film The Quiet Man. Some time in Galway City before traversing the Burren region and viewing the mighty Cliffs of Moher. An optional medieval banquet is on offer tonight in an Irish castle.

LIMERICK & ADARE
After breakfast we head for the Kingdom of Kerry. A tour of Limerick City is undertaken before travelling to Adare and then arriving in the beautiful town of Killarney.

SUNDAY, JUNE 30, 2019
DINGLE PENINSULA
This morning we will visit the fishing port of Dingle and view the Blasket Islands as we round Slea Head. Here you will spend some free time to have lunch (own expense). Dingle town is known for its brightly coloured houses, pubs and restaurants as well as the friendly and welcoming locals. Enjoy views of the Lakes before returning to Killarney. This evening you are free to dine at one of Killarney’s fine establishments (own expense).

MONDAY, JULY 01, 2019
KENMARE & KILLARNEY
We take the short drive to the heritage town of Kenmare this morning. We then travel the Ring of Kerry road back into Killarney thru’ Moll’s Gap where we visit a traditional working sheep farm. This afternoon, you may wish to take a jaunting car ride through the National Park, or explore some of the local walking trail. Later this evening you are invited to Quill’s Farmhouse for a traditional Irish dinner and entertainment.

TUESDAY, JULY 02, 2019
BLARNEY & TIPPERARY
Leaving Kerry we travel east to Blarney where you may wish to visit the castle and kiss the ‘stone of eloquence.’ Onward to Cork, for some free time before arriving in medieval Kilkenny.

WEDNESDAY, JULY 03, 2019
WATERFORD & KILKENNY
Follow in the footsteps of a group of Famine emigrants as you board a replica of the sailing vessel Dunbrody at the quayside in New Ross. We continue to the Viking city of Waterford where you will have time to explore before returning back to Kilkenny. Those who are interested may wish to visit the Waterford Crystal Factory (own expense). This evening you are free to dine in Kilkenny (own expense).

THURSDAY, JULY 04, 2019
GUINNESS
After a leisurely morning we depart for Dublin. You will undertake a panoramic tour of the city before visiting the ‘home of the black stuff,’ Guinness, before checking into your hotel. This evening, is a free night to explore the electric atmosphere in Dublin. Temple Bar is a popular choice for evening festivities, an area that is well known for its music filled pubs and talented street musicians.
