Day 1 September 23rd
Céad Míle Fáilte A Céad Míle Fáilte (100,00 Welcomes) is extended on arrival at Dublin Airport by your driver/guide. We will waste no time starting our adventure as we head north to Ulster into Saint Patrick’s Country to visit the grave of Ireland’s Patron Saint and the Saint Patrick Centre which tells his story. Afterward, we visit Tracey’s Farmhouse where you will be welcomed with a delicious display of homemade treats and freshly made breads. You will be invited to help make fresh soda bread before enjoying the fruits of your labour with refreshing cup of coffee or tea. We continue to Strangford where we take a ferryboat ride across Strangford Lough to Portaferry before reaching Belfast. Tonight, we will enjoy a welcome dinner at our hotel.

Day 2 September 24th
All things Belfast After breakfast we will undertake a guided tour of Belfast City Hall. Afterward, we will visit one of Europe’s top visitor attractions, The Titanic Experience. Once you have completed your self-guided tour through the centre, our driver/guide will lead us on a panoramic tour of Belfast, that will include the political murals of the Protestant Shankhill and Catholic Falls Roads. Since the remainder of the day and evening is at leisure, you may wish to check out the Cathedral Quarter of town, home to many great restaurants and lively pubs.

Day 3 September 25th
Causeways and Castles This morning we take the scenic Causeway Coastal Route through the Glens of Antrim to The Giant’s Causeway, a UNESCO heritage site. We continue to Derry, where you will take an interesting and informative guided walking tour of the historic city walls. We continue to our home for the night, Lough Eske Castle, one of the finest 5 star castles in Ireland. This evening we will be treated to delicious meal in the magnificent setting of AA Rosette Cedars Restaurant at our hotel.

Day 4 September 26th
Pottery & Poets After a leisurely breakfast we depart for County Fermanagh to visit Belleek Pottery, where you will see craftsmen at work during your guided tour of the factory. Then we enter the romantic domain of WB Yeats, where we visit his grave and other sites associated with the poet. We will visit Parkes Castle, a former plantation castle of the early 17th century that was once home to Robert Plante and his family. We will board a cruise on Lough Gill to Sligo where there will be free time to enjoy a light lunch, or shop for local handcrafts. Our final stop is the colourful town of Westport, a centre that is well known for its lively pubs, where there is sure to be a music session on any given night of the week.

Glen Keen Farm, Louisburg and Kylemore Abbey This morning we depart for Connemara, one of the most scenic regions in Ireland and an area rich in Irish culture. We will spend time in Louisburg with a visit to Glen Keen Farm, where we will enjoy a sheep herding demonstration followed by a delectable spread of tea and scones. There will be free time in the town of Louisburg before departing for Kylemore Abbey, a monastery founded in 1920 for Benedictine Nuns who fled Belgium in World War I. The remainder of the day and evening is at leisure in Galway, and we encourage you to venture out and dine as a local. Dining recommendations include John Kehoe’s, Ard Bia’s, Brasserie on the Corner and Oscar’s Seafood Bistro.

Day 6 September 28th
The Kingdom of Kerry Today we journey south along the Wild Atlantic Way through the lunar landscaped terrain of the Burren. We will embark on a cruise along the Atlantic coastline to view the mighty Cliffs of Moher from below. Then, it's on to Limerick City for a panoramic city tour where we will view St. John’s Castle, the Treaty Stone and St Mary’s Cathedral before reaching Killarney. This evening we will dine as a group at the hotel.

Day 7 September 29th
The Ring of Kerry We make an early start this morning as we begin our drive along the scenic Ring of Kerry Road. Our journey will take us to the edge of Ireland passing through quaint towns and villages, including Moll’s Gap, a mountain pass that offers breathtaking views of the MacGillycuddy’s Reeks mountains. We visit the Skellig Six18 Gin and Whiskey Distillery where we will enjoy a tour and a tasting while taking in breathtaking views of the Skellig Islands. Tonight, local jarvies will take us on a jaunting car ride through the town of Killarney to Quills Farmhouse where we will dine on traditional Irish fayre while being entertained by local musicians.

Day 8 September 30th
Blarney & Kilkenny After breakfast, our travels take us east to the village of Blarney, and Blarney Castle, home to the famous ‘stone of eloquence.’ Our next stop is New Ross where you will follow in the footsteps of a group of famine emigrants as we board the famine ship Dunbrody. We continue along the scenic route through Inistioge and Woodstock to the medieval town of Kilkenny, where there will be free time to explore the town centre before re-joining the group for dinner at the hotel.

Day 9 October 1st
Dublin’s Fair City Leaving Kilkenny, we head north thru the Curragh of Kildare stopping for a guided tour of the Irish National Stud, the home of many of Ireland’s most famous former, and most recent championship racehorses. While you are here, you may wish to take a wander through the Japanese Gardens, a mix of western and eastern cultures and one of the most beautiful gardens of its kind in Europe. On arrival in Dublin, we will undertake a panoramic tour of the city before checking into our hotel. The remainder of the day is at your leisure to explore, dine, shop or just people watch in one of the many city parks. Our hotel is located within steps of the lively Temple Bar area of town, where there several popular pubs that feature live music on a nightly basis.

Day 10 October 2nd
Sightseeing and Shindigs Today is yours to immerse yourself in this compact city using your Hop on/Hop off Sightseeing Pass, allowing you to visit attractions that are of most interest to you. RIT recommendations include Kilmainham Gaol, Glasnevin Cemetery, Trinity College Library (The Book of Kells), and EPIC to name a few. This evening we will drive the coastal route to the pretty fishing village of Howth and the 16th Century Abbey Tavern for an exclusive evening of great food and rousing Irish entertainment in the Long Boat Room.

Day 11 October 3rd
Slán Sadly, all good things must come to end. After a final hearty breakfast your guide will escort you to Dublin Airport for your flight home.
