Day 2 At Sea

Day 3 Ittoqqortoormiit (Half day)
Visit the most remote inhabited community in the Western Hemisphere, surrounded by ice most of the year.

Days 4–7 North East Greenland National Park
Explore the world’s largest and least-visited national park, which only allows a small number of expeditions during the very short summer season.

Day 8 Scoresbysund FjordW
e attempt to land at the mouth of the Scoresbysund fjord, the world’s largest fjord system, extending 215 miles inland and almost 2,000 feet deep.

Day 9 At Sea
Enjoy lectures from the Expedition Team as we cruise along the eastern coast of Greenland.

Day 10 Umivik
Fringed by numerous calving glaciers, Umivik is where Fridtjof Nansen launched his famous Greenland ice sheet expedition in 1888.

Day 11 Skjoldungen
The island of Skjoldungen, situated between two deep fjords was described by 19th century Danish explorer W.A Graah as ‘paradise on Earth.’

Day 12 Prins Christian Sund Cruise through this long, enchanting fjord encircled by peaks soaring over 7,280 feet high.

Day 13 At SeaWe set our course for Canada.

Day 14 Red Bay (Full day)
The remains of several submerged 17th century Basque whaling ships led to this small fishing town becoming a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
