  • Your cruise line’s Advance Passenger Information.File this two weeks ahead
  • Arrival/embarkation procedures
  • Who, when and how much to tip
  • Ports of call and currencies
  • Medical concerns (e.g. meal times for diabetics)
  • Cruise lines have implemented restrictions regarding the travel period for guests who are pregnant. Please let your travel counsellor know if you or a travelling companion will be cruising while pregnant.

    Packing & Document Checklist

    A valid passport for each person — no exceptions
    Is your Advance Passenger information in?
    Copies: passport, travellers cheques, ID, cancellation/medical insurance
    Medication, prescription glasses
    Itinerary/contact info for those at home
    If a solo parent, notarized letter from other parent allowing child to travel
    Two dressy outfits for women for formal dinners; dress pants & jacket for men.  Note, these may not be necessary for certain cruise lines, such as expedition and more casual cruises. Check with your counsellor.
